  • ARE YOU GOOD AT NEGOTIATING?

Speak to your Suppliers. See if you can negotiate a good deal, whether it is a reduction in price of services or even added extra’s.

  • HOW ARE YOU DIY SKILLS?

This one is perfect if you are having an outdoor or DIY Wedding. Use your skills to add personal touches to your Wedding Venue.

  • IF YOU’RE PROVIDING YOUR OWN BAR – ORGANISE THE CHOICE OF DRINKS

(** Need Help? Contact me for a complimentary drink guide**)

  • CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING PLAYLIST

What songs do you want played at your Wedding? (Just remember to involve your Bride in the final decision)

  • SOURCE ACCOMMODATION FOR YOUR GUESTS

Make a list of local Hotels, Airbnb’s, Campsites etc to be available for your Guests who maybe travelling a distance to your Wedding.

  • SET UP A WEDDING WEBSITE

A Wedding Website is a great place to add information for your Wedding (Including that accommodation list that you have just made)

  • BUYING GROOMSMEN GIFTS

Afterall, you know your Best Man and Ushers better than anyone else.

  • HONEYMOON PLANNING

This is an important wedding planning task to get right. Traditionally, the Honeymoon is organised by the Groom as a surprise for his Bride.

  • WEDDING TRANSPORT

Men and Cars usually go well together, so this is probably a good task for wedding planning for Grooms as the task to source the choice of drinks for the Bar. Remember to use those negotiating skill too. But also think about your Bride, the choice of transport needs to be something that she will be comfortable travelling in too!

  • WRITE YOUR VOWS

This is an opportunity to bring out the romantic and sentimental side of you. Also research some readings that you feel maybe appropriate to be read out at your Wedding Ceremony

Finally, (this one is for Brides who are designating wedding planning tasks to their other half!) Ask him to keep his mom in line! All too often, the Mother of the Groom can get carried away with the wedding planning. If this happens, ask your Groom to rein his mother in!)
