LGBTQ Weddings trends for 2019 are much the same as any of the other aspects of wedding trends that I have spoken about over the last few weeks.
Double proposals are what we are starting so see for LGBTQ wedding trends. One half of the Couple makes their proposal to their other half, and immediately after, the other half makes their proposal too. I think this is a beautiful way of celebrating their love for each other.
Same sex Couples are tending to choose LGBTQ friendly suppliers. They want to feel a connection with the people that are helping to plan their wedding.
SMALL AND INTIMATE
LGBTQ wedding trends, tending to be for small and intimate weddings, with a maximum guest number of 85. Wedding weekends are becoming increasingly fashionable so that Couples can spend longer with the friends and family.
LGBTQ WEDDING TRENDS FOR DÉCOR AND COLOURS
Patterns and textures will be high up on the list for LGBTQ weddings this year. We will also continue to see rich, but classic colour choices. Couples will continue to make their own personalised choices and unique touches to their wedding day.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Couples are wanting to choose destinations for their weddings that are sentimental to both as a couple. Many are choosing a further afield destinations such as the Greek Islands, which coincides nicely for the smaller intimate wedding we have already talked about.
LGBTQ wedding trends are all about making the Couples day special for them and instilling their history as well as their new future together as a married couple. The more unique the day is for them, the better.
