Never more than now has it been essential to find ways to save money when planning your Wedding. So, today, I’m going to give you a few top ways in which you can do just that!
Firstly, Stick to your budget.
I can’t stress this enough. Setting a budget should be your first step in many ways to save money when planning your Wedding.
Once you’ve set it, you need to make sure you stick to it; if you don’t, what’s the point?
Next, Think about when you want to get married.
Peak wedding season is from May to September, and getting married at this time comes with a premium price.
Why not think of a crisp winter wedding or the beautiful Autumnal colours that come in October? And let’s face it, here in the UK, October 2022 has been one of the driest and warmest on record!
Also, don’t go for a Saturday wedding. Many Venues offer a reduced rate for a midweek wedding.
Start searching for your favourite Suppliers.
Sign up for their mailing lists and follow them on Social Media. That way, you can find out if they offer special deals.
Visit local wedding fayres. Many Suppliers offer discounts if you book their services at the Fayres.
Upcycle and Re-Use
You’re not the only one looking for fantastic things for your Wedding day. Many Couples before you have done the same for their special day and will now be in a position to sell items on. Keep an eye out in Facebook wedding groups and on marketplace. You never know what things you may find – that has only been used once.
Finally, Use Friends and Family
Have you got an Aunt who’s a fantastic baker or an Uncle or cousin that’s amazing with woodwork or art?
Use their talents to help you create your perfect day at a fraction of the cost of Wedding Suppliers.
