Have you thought about transport for your Wedding? Whether it is for you and your partner or your guests’ convenience.

Perhaps think outside the box and have something a little bit different, for example:

Emergency Vehicle (Out of use, of course, I don’t mean you turn up with the local Constabulary!)

Vintage Steam Engine

Motorbike and Side Car

VW Campervan

Apart from thinking about how you or your Partner will get to your Wedding Venue, it is essential to think about your Guests…

Double Decker Bus –  Perfect for transporting your Guests together to the Reception or their accommodation at the end of the night.

Vintage Tractor –  If you’re having a Farm Wedding, either to transport you and your Wedding Party or something a little quirky to transport your Guests from the Ceremony to the Reception.

Some good reasons why you should hire transport for your wedding guests

If the venue was a distance or in an unfamiliar areaWedding Transport - Double Decker Bus

To ensure that all the guests arrived at the right venue at the right time

All of your guests can have a drink

It prevents Guests not being able to get a Taxi at the end of the night – particularly if you’re having your wedding in a rural location, and Taxi’s are few and far between.

Key Points to remember when hiring wedding transportation

How far will you be travelling – if it’s going to be a distance, a slow vintage tractor may not be ideal.

Seating capacity and any special requirements (e.g., disabled access)

Weather (If open-top transport)

Theme of Wedding

What sort of information should you discuss with your Transport provider?

Wedding Car

Ensure that you have seen the vehicle you or your Partner or Guests will be traveling in and that it is as advertised.

Make sure that the transport operator carries out a site visit before your Wedding Day and is also aware of any roadworks, closures, or special events taking place on your Wedding Day that may delay your arrival.

If you’re providing transport for your Guests, either to get them to your Wedding Venue or to transport them back to their accommodation at the end of the night, make sure that you let them know on the invitations or your Wedding Website.
