After all the stress of planning your Wedding, you want to enjoy your Honeymoon and relax.
Here are 10 ways on how to enjoy your Honeymoon – stress free
1- CHECK YOUR PASSPORTS
Are they in date?
Does the name on your passport match your tickets?
If you’re changing your name, change your passport after your Honeymoon of all paperwork is in your maiden name.
2-DON’T FORGET TRAVEL INSURANCE
Just because it’s your Honeymoon, accidents can still happen (My husband managed to dislocate his shoulder swimming in the sea on ours!)
3-CHECK YOUR BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
I get it, it’s your Honeymoon. If you’re anything like me, you’ve bought a whole new wardrobe (and lingerie drawer) but make sure it will all fit in your suitcase under your baggage limit.
4-REMEMBER YOUR BUDGET
While it’s tempting to sip champagne everyday or to plan those once in a lifetime excursions, check your budget first. Like planning your Wedding, you don’t want to get back off your Honeymoon filled up with debt.
5-CHECK LOCAL CUSTOMS AND LAWS
If you’re going to a faraway country, check what you can and can’t do. Especially if you feel like consummating your marriage on a sandy beach – if you know what I mean!
6-ALWAYS WEAR SUNSCREEN
(I’m sure there’s a song about that!)
The last thing you want is for your new husband/wife not to be able to go near you because you’re sore with sun burn. Remember the suntan lotion.
7-IT’S YOUR HONEYMOON, DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT
If your budget will take it, go swim with dolphins, do a bungee jump… do something you’ve never done before. Make your honeymoon memorable.
8-DON’T PLAN EVERYTHING
You don’t have to have a strict timetable of doing something every day. Relax and enjoy each other’s Company doing nothing!
You’ve had a busy few months (maybe years even) planning your dream wedding. Use your Honeymoon for some time out before you head home to normality as a married Couple.
10-FINALLY – YOU HAVEN’T GOT TO DO EVERYTHING ON YOUR HONEYMOON
You’ve got your lifetime together. Make some plans to look forward to.
